Hyderabad: The first look poster of Srinivas Reddy starrer Jamba Lakidi Pamba was released today by actor Naresh Vijaya Krishna. In an event held Sarathi Studios, the poster was unveiled in the presence of actor Ali and director Maruthi Dasari. The cast and crew of the film were also present.
Actor Naresh was the hero of Jamba Lakidi Pamba which was released in 1993. “I never thought someone will use this title again for a movie. It was director and my best friend EVV Satyanarayana coined the term Jamba Lakidi Pamba. I am happy that the makers are adopting the same title once again and wish the movie a huge success at the box office”, said actor Naresh.
Actor Ali, who was also a part of old Jamba Lakidi Pamba wised success to the new movie. He said “while shooting for the film in Vizag the actors use to roam around in different cloths and people thought that they were mad. But once the movie released, the response was so good and it became a big success. I also wish the new Jamba Lakidi Pamba team all the best and pray that the movie become super hit”, said the actor.
“Using a super hit movie’s title for a new movie requires courage. From what I have seen and heard, I believe the makers will justify the use of the title. All the actors and crew have done a wonderful job. The first look poster also looks promising. I wish them a huge success.” said director Maruthi.
In Jamba Lakidi Pamba, Srinivas Reddy will be seen playing a character named Varun. Siddhi Idnani, the heroine, will be essaying a character named Pallavi. The film, which was officially launched last December, also stars Posani Krishna Murali, Vennela Kishore, Tanikella Bharani, Raghu Babu, Satyam Rajesh, Dhanraj, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Hari Teja, Himaja, Sudha and Rajitha in supporting roles.
JB Murali Krishna (Manu) is directing this movie under the banner Sivam Celluloids and Mainline Productions. The movie is produced by Ravi, Jojo Jose & Srinivasa Reddy N and co-produced by B. Suresh Reddy. National award winning music director Gopi Sunder has composed 5 songs for the movie.
The post-production work of this film is progressing at a rapid pace as it is gearing up for a May release. As per the reports, the movie is a complete comedy entertainer and the makers believe that Jamba Lakidi Pamba will be one of the best comedy movies of 2018.
