Velammal Bodhi Campus, Ponneri extends a mission of charity by organizing a patriotic Dance Drama, Sriram Sharma’s ‘Velu Nachiyar’ which portrays the heroic biography of Tamil Nadu’s ‘ Jhansi Rani’ Smt. Velu Nachiyar. It is solely a charity fundraiser for the Adyar Cancer Institute. The programme is scheduled on 9th Dec, 2017 at 5.30 p.m. in Tapovan Hall, Chinmaya Heritage Centre, Chetpet, Chennai.
The Founding Father of Velammal Educational Trust and Chairman Shri. M.V.Muthuramalingam will grace the occasion. CEO Shri. M.V.M. Velmurugan will address the gathering and Correspondent Shri. M.V.M.Velmohan and Director Shri. M.V.M.Sasikumar will bless the participants and wish the entire team great success on their mission for a worthy cause. The programme is intended to chip in a fund of more than 15 Lakhs for Adyar Cancer Institute.

She was the first female ruler of India to take up arms against the British and ruled for 10 years – the glorious period of Sivaganga. This exclusive Dance Drama is a feast to the eyes and panacea to break the shackles that women encounter in the present scenario.
