It was recently announced that Arunraja Kamaraj who became popular with his Neruppuda song in Kabali will be soon donning the director hat.
The lyricist-singer will be directing a movie based on women’s cricket.
He also made a casting call for young talented girls who can play cricket.
Now former cricketer Devika Palshikar has come forward to help Arunraja as a consultant for the film.
It may be recollected that in several interviews he had expressed that he moved to Chennai in hopes of becoming a director but became a lyricist by chance.
