Sandakozhi marked the entry of Vishal as an action hero. Its sequel is expected to go on floors from the last week of August.
The movie titled as Sandakozhi 2 will be directed by Lingusamy who also made the first part.
Sources revealed that a grand set has been erected in the city and the first schedule of the movie is expected to happen for 40 days.
The sources also added that the makers are planning to release the movie during the Pongal festival 2018.
Keerthy Suresh plays the female lead in the flick, while Varalakshmi is also part of the cast along with Soori. Music for the movie will be by D Imman.
