Promotional activities for Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming flick 2.0 began a few days ago from Hollywood with the launch of a hot air balloon carrying the movie’s poster.
Now, the creative head of Lyca Productions Raju Mahalingam who is bankrolling the flick, has said that the shooting for the flick has been wrapped up and VFX works are happening at a rapid pace.
Silencing rumours about the postponement of the movie’s release, he said that the flick will hit the screens on 25 January 2018 as planned.
Directed by Shankar the film was originally slated to be released in October, however later it was postponed.
The movie is a sequel to 2010 block buster Enthiran. Amy Jackson plays the female lead in the movie while Bollywood hero Akshay Kumar will play the role of a scientist.
