The shooting of Vijay Sethupathi-Trisha starrer 96 will commence from 12 June.
Directed by Prem Kumar, the project will kickstart with the auspicious pooja on that day.
Touted to be a love story, it is said that the year 1996 plays an vital role in the movie, hence the title.
The flick is bankrolled by S Nandagopal of Madras Enterprises banner and has music by Govid Menon and the camera will be cranked hy N Shanmuga Sundaram.
It may be noted that recently the crew was on the hunt for artistes to play the role of young Trisha and Vijay Sethupathi in the movie.
