Complaint against Kaala


A complaint was filed with the Chennai city police commissionerate today against Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala.

The complainant Rajasekaran aka Nagaraj, a resident of Bharathi Salai at Karapakkam, claimed that he had already registered the title Karikalan with the South Indian Film Chamber on 24 April in 1996.

He said that he also met Rajini through his fans club administrator Sathyanarayanan and wanted him to act in his script on great Chola emperor Karikalan.

Stating that he was shocked to see the recent stills of Kaala Karikalan, he said the title was his. He requested the police commissioner to take appropriate action.

A gangster film written and directed by Pa Ranjith and produced by Dhanush, the film revolves around the life of a Mumbai-based don Karikalan, played by Rajinikanth. Huma Qureshi, Samuthirakani and Anjali Patil also star in pivotal roles.
