The actor who contested for the post of the President emerged victorious by defeating veterans Kothanda Ramaiah and R Radhakrishnan.
The polling was held with tight security in which 1,059 votes were polled. All the contestants from Vishal’s team except director Mysskin won the tightly fought contest.
Prakash Raj and Gautham Vasudev Menon were elected as the vice-presidents of the council and Dream Warrior Pictures head S R Prabhu was elected treasurer.
