The newly elected office-bearers of the Tamil Film Producers Council met music maestro Ilayaraja at Prasad Studio in Chennai today.
After the meeting, the members said that a grand function will be held in Chennai to honour the Isaignani and the work for it will begin today.
The Council president Vishal said that a committee headed by director Mysskin will be formed to curtail piracy problems.
The first executive council meeting of the body will take place at Sri Raghavendra Marriage Hall of Superstar Rajinikanth at Kodambakkam on Thursday at 6 pm.
