The shooting of the Tamil remake of Malayalam hit Bhaskar the Rascal began today with the auspicious pooja in Cochin.
The movie which has Arvind Swami and Amala Paul in the lead has been titled as Baskar Oru Rascal.
Actor Meena’s daughter who played Vijay’s daughter in Theri will also be a part of the cast.
Bhaskar The Rascal is a 2015 Malayalam comedy family film written and directed by Siddique. It stars Mammootty and Nayantara with a supporting cast of JD Chakravarthy, Sanoop Santhosh, Baby Anikha, Janardhanan, Kalabhavan Shajon, Harisree Ashokan and Saju Navodaya. The music was composed by Deepak Dev.
The film was released on 15 April 2015 and grossed a total of Rs 25 crore (US$3.7 million) at the worldwide box office. The movie also completed 100 days run at theatre.
