No hurry to complete Vada Chennai: Vettrimaran

National award winning director Vettrimaran has said that the sequels of Vada Chennai will not be released at quick succession.

Vettrimaran who is currently shooting for the first part of the trilogy has said that he is in no rush to complete shooting for the flick.

‘Doing the trilogy in succession will only lead to boredom, hence I will do a film after completing the first part and then will do the second part and then again take a break and will commence the third part,’ the director has said.

Vada Chennai has Dhanush in the lead with Vijay Sethupathi playing an extended cameo is said to be the story of a gangster between 1977-2017.

It is said that the director has already completed 70 percent shooting of the movie.
