The next venture of director Aishwarya R Dhanush was revealed on New Year and it came as one of the most unexpected announcements with the movie being based on the life of Paralympic winner Mariyappan Thangavelu.
The officials announcement along with the first look poster of the film was released by Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan.
‘Here’s presenting the first look of the biopic on #MariyappanThangavelu, our very own national hero, all the best @ash_r_dhanush,’ Shah Rukh Khan posted.
The film will be made as a bilingual in Tamil and English. Sean Roldon renders the music score while Velraj will handle the camera and Prasanna GK will be the editor.
The movie is expected to release this year. It may be noted that Aishwarya is also directing a documentary called Cinema Veeran which is based on the life of cinema stunt artistes.
