First time in India – Unique salon & gym opens for transgenders – Modern salon and gym inaugurated
Coimbatore, July 11: Luxx Spa and salon, a modern unisex salon and gym located on Race Course, a famous landmark of Coimbatore city, was inaugurated by Formula One specialist Narain Karthikeyan, who was the chief guest, in the presence of film star Dr V Sethu Raman, guest of honour, on Monday.
The salon, open for both both sexes, will fulfill the expectations of fashion conscious younger generation of today while the gym, stocked with modern exercise equipments, will help the youth to maintain their bodies in good shape and form.
For the first time in India Coimbatore based socialist Mr.J.Sivapprakash – Director of Luxx salon.dayspa and GYM 45 has taken the initiative to bring awareness about transgenders.
When we can support actress Laverne Cox or writer Janet mock, why not our neighbours ? Why not transgenders in our city? asks Mr.Sivapprakash.
