A movie about Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar is the latest to join the long list of bio-pics that are being made in the recent times.
The movie titled Padaithalaivan will be directed by Thanga Tamilvanan and will have R Ramesh playing the lead role.
Shooting of the movie began with an auspicious poojai recently at Pasumpon, the birthplace of the leader who was instrumental during the freedom struggle.
The star cast also includes Ganja Karuppu, Singamuthu and Aadukalam Naren.
