Suriya has a huge fan base not just for his acting skills but also for the several welfare measures that he carries out.
Living up to his reputation, the actor recently announced that he will contribute Rs. One crore for the development and research of agriculture.
Apart from this he also gave Rs two lakh to five farmers. He made the announcement during the success meet of Kadai Kutty Singam which was bankrolled by Suriya’s own production house 2D Entertainment.
The story revolved around farming and stressed on the importance of joint family.
