The shooting of Vijay Sethupathi-Trisha starrer 96 began with an auspicious pooja in which the the lead pair took part.
The actress was gorgeous as ever and tweeted a photo from the event in twitter with the caption. ‘And the journey begins ❤️? #96 #love #magic #cinema.’
Directed by Prem Kumar, 96 is touted to be a love story. The title is said to be kept as the movie has some significance to the year 1996.
The flick is bankrolled by S Nandagopal of Madras Enterprises banner and has music by Govid Menon and the camera will be cranked by N Shanmuga Sundaram.
It may be noted that recently the crew was on the hunt for artistes to play the role of young Trisha and Vijay Sethupathi in the movie.
