While the promotion of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali reached a whole new level with the painting of an entire airplane with the movie poster, makers of the actor’s next 2.0 are all set to outdo the strategy.
Lyca Productions who are bankrolling the magnum opus directed by Shankar have designed a hot air balloon carrying the poster of the movie.
Creative head of the production house, Raju Mahalingam tweeted a photo of the balloon and posted,’Test inflation successfully completed! Waiting for weather clearance…#2Point0.’
Sources revealed that the team is planning to take the balloon not just to various cities in India but also to the important locations of the world, including Hollywood. The trail run in Hollywood was already successful, they said.
Music for the flick is by A R Rahman and the audio launch is expected to happen in Dubai in October. The movie which was initially slated to be released this year has been postponed to June 2018.
