Mahabharatham to be presented in the silver screen

For the first time ever in the history of Indian cinema industry, a film will be made at a whopping budget of Rs 1000 crore.

An UAE based billionaire B R Shetty will be investing the amount to produce a film based on the epic novel Mahabharatham.

The movie which is titled as ‘The Mahabarata’ will have Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal in the lead.

The film will be made as two parts and is scheduled to go on floors from September 2018. The first part will be released in early 2020 followed by the second part in 90 days.

It is said that the casting and technical crew will be blend of various talents across the world.

The movie will be based on the novel of Randamoozham written by Malayalam writer M T Vasudevan Nair and will convey the story from Bhima’s view.

The film will be shot in English, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu and will be dubbed into major Indian languages and leading foreign languages.
