Even as the shooting of Thalapathy 61 started recently there is a disappointing news for the fans as one of the three lead female actors had opted out of the film.
Jyothika who was part of the cast of the movie has reportedly backed out of the project.
Sources reveal that the Kushi actress wanted a few changes in the script to which director Atlee was not keen on. Now Nithya Menen has been roped in to play that role in the film.
The shooting of the flick began with an auspicious pooja in ECR last week during which Vijay also took part.
