Actress Nithya Menen who was roped in as the third actress in Vijay’s 61st film has joined the team for the shooting which is happening in ECR at present.
Nithya Menen was signed as a replacement for Jyothika who opted out of the flick.
It is also learnt that Vijay will be playing a cop in the movie.
The movie also has Kajal Agarwal and Samantha playing the female leads as well. The cast includes SJ Suryah, Sathyaraj, Vadivelu and Sathyan.
A R Rahman will be composing music for a Vijay film for the third time after Udhaya and Azhagiya Tamizh Magan, while Vijayendra Prasad, father of SS Rajamouli, has written the screenplay.
The technical team comprises of cinematographer GK Vishnu, editor Ruben, art director Muthuraj and stunt by Anal Arasu.
