The silent protest organised by the Nadigar Sangam in support of Jallikattu held today with leading actors including Superstar Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Ajith Kumar, Suriya, Sivakarthikeyan, Karthi, Sathyaraj, Shalini and Nassar taking part.
The event was organised with ‘pandals’ at the Nadigar Sangam grounds and the Sangam’s president Nassar had requested not to give live coverage to the protest and asked the media to focus on the youngsters instead, following which there was not much coverage of the event.
This is the first appearance of Ajith Kumar at the Nadigar Sangam after many years and Trisha made her first public appearance today at the protest after the jallikattu controversy.
