Premier Futsal to bring together star-studded line-up of A.R Rahman &ViratKohlifor official anthem
Chennai, June 6th 2016:Premier Futsal today announced musical maestro A.R Rahman will compose the official anthem of the league ahead of its inaugural season, which will showcase Indian Cricket test team captain and youth icon, ViratKohli, in a never-seen-before role as a singer.
This is will be a first for Oscar award winner, A.R Rahman, to compose and sing official anthem for a franchise-based sport league in the country.
A.R Rahman said“I’m proud to associate with Premier Futsal for the league’s official anthem. It makes me happy to see such young entrepreneurs being passionate about the sporting scenario of the country and I wish them all the success in this venture. I’m especially excited to work with ViratKohli on this, let’s hope he is as good withhis melody as he is with his bat!”
ViratKohli, League ambassador, Premier Futsal, said “I have been a fan of A.R Rahman for years. It will be personal achievement and also a privilege to share the screen with him and lend my voice to the anthem of Premier Futsal.”
This high decibel marketing initiative from Premier Futsal, which is promoted by Mr. Xavier Britto of Indev Group,involving two of the best known Indian personalities is targeted to create awareness for the sport of Futsal as well as promotion of the league ahead of its launch on 15th July.

The anthem titled, “Naamhai Futsal” will be released with a video featuring, ViratKohli exclusively through digital platform of Premier Futsal in the week of 20th June. The concept and production of the anthem is done by DDB Mudra.
A.R Rahman’s association with Premier Futsal adds further elite support to the league, which already boosts Portugal Football legend & Former World Player of the year, Luis Figo as President and Indian Test Cricket captain, ViratKohli as league ambassador.
ᐧPremier Futsal will commence on July 15, 2016, and will be telecast live and exclusive on Sony SIX, SONY ESPN and Sony AATH. Matches will also be available to live stream on Sony LIV.
